Janet Wayman-Morris
My voice quality has been described as authoritative, wise, articulate, and confident – which stems from my diverse experience as a senior scientist, data analyst, and project manager. My background includes public speaking, leadership roles, and training course development and presentations. I have facilitated team projects and written and edited many short briefing papers to long, scientific reports. It is important to make quality deliverables – and that includes my voice-over recordings.
On a personal note, I actively participate in two Toastmaster International clubs by giving regular speeches and serving as officers in both clubs. Sometimes my speeches will reflect my experiences from international travel such as my month-long trips to Mongolia and Peru in 2019. My domestic travel for fun and work took me to all of the lower 48 states where I practiced photography.
I grew up in the Midwest United States in a small farming community. As an adult I followed school and work, living in the Rocky Mountains, the Gulf Coast, New England, Los Angeles, the Great Basin, the UK, and have settled in the Mid-Atlantic Region. When I am home, I enjoy designing with polymer clay and creating with paper. Since I value a good laugh, my week isn’t complete without sharing silliness with words found in an improv session. Yet to wind down, I am learning the practice of tai chi.
I relish the spoken word and I like to reach others with voice recordings. I am very patient and coach people through the process of how it works. Friends and colleagues characterize me as clever, determined, detail-oriented, creative, and a bit of a geek. I take direction well and have a positive attitude. I have endurance and strive to enjoy the whole voice-over experience from recording to audio editing. If you need someone to confidently deliver your ideas, I can help.
I want to help you tell your story.
